EVP from Halloween Evening 2002 Ghost Walk
Background: This walk was a historical trek through downtown Lexington, Kentucky. It recreated a famous ghost chase, and was even reported in the newspaper the next morning. This was the 119th anniversary of the incident, happening on Halloween 1883.
#1 - Courthouse |
We had just arrived at the courthouse in downtown Lexington when the clock chimed 11 p.m. Just after the very last chime, a woman's voice is heard whispering "Time". |
#2 - Sayre School |
We were standing in front of the property owned and currently being remodeled by Sayre School. You'll hear a child say "Come on Mommy, we're going to be late." I should add at this point that the youngest person in our party was 19 years old. |
#3 - Along Limestone |
Two voices, one says "Get out" The other says "Is it time yet" and we think she also says a name, but we can't make it out. |
#4 - The Presbyterian Cemetery |
This is just after our guide told us this was the location where the ghost in 1883 had first been spotted, coming out of this cemetery. You hear a woman's voice say "What do you think you're doing?" |
