This class combines Ghost Hunting 101 and Advanced Ghost Hunting to get you certified in one day. It will be an intensive training day so come prepared to delve straight into the nitty gritty of things! Open to anyone 18 or older.

Camp Nelson Ghost Hunting Experience

$15.00 per person

This event will lead you on an actual ghost hunt on the Camp Nelson property, including the barracks, the brig and earthen forts. You will be part of a ghost hunting group lead by veteran ghost hunters Starr and Jessi Chaney; you will be able to see the equipment used to detect ghosts, and learn how to communicate with those spirits who remain. Real ghosts make for real excitement, so bring your camera, a positive attitude, and an open mind. The event will be $15 per person. No one under the age of 13 will be permitted on this event. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Things That Go Boom in the Night

This event is a Camp Nelson overnight campout and real ghost hunting experience, right on the actual grounds. You provide your own tent, sleeping bags and cameras... we'll provide the ghosts. Event begins at 8 pm and you will need to be packed up and headed home by 9 am the next morning. Come prepared for lots of fun and some great ghost hunting! Open to persons 16 or older only. Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult.

Haunted Retreat at Keene Springs Inn

We have put together a great event for those truly interested in ghost hunting! The day begins at noon with lunch at the very haunted and historic Keene Springs Inn Restaurant, then the afternoon will be filled with classes on ghost hunting including Spirit Communications, Dowsing for Spirit Activity, How to capture EVP, protecting yourself during a ghost hunt, and more! After classes we will do an overnight investigation of the Historic and very haunted Keene Springs Inn! (Be sure to bring a sleeping bag if you plan to sleep, the Inn is no longer used so there are no beds)

Exploring Spirit Communications

Have you ever taken a photo at a family gathering only to find there is some odd white blob or mist in the photo? That was probably someone trying to get your attention! Exploring Spirit Communication will delve into the ways Spirits communicate with us, through photos and recordings. Ghosts are all around us, wouldn't it be great to hear what they had to say? You will learn how to recognize instances of these communications, and even how to encourage them. We have received many communications during ghost hunts by way of our cameras, tape & digital recorders, and camcorders. This class will show you how to do the same, by applying the correct principals of communication as well as ways to interpret and share this information. Open to anyone 18 or older.
